The number of the newlyweds is increasing

On August 2, 2009 Mr. Sergei Atanasov was invited by Evropa television channel to comment on whether the economic crisis affects people’s desire to get married.

There is a 10.15 percent increase in the number of people that want to marry in 2009. These numbers were presented by Sergei Atanasov who had been involved in the business of organizing wedding parties for the last decade.  Even though there is a great deal of news about the economic crisis every day, the Bulgarians’ eagerness to celebrate obviously has not subsided.

In fact, it has increased according to Mr. Atanasov’s opinion that is based on the Bulgarians’ mentality being focused on the desire to celebrate and feel good.

It does not matter how much the wedding party is going to cost when you are definite about having it, says Mr. Atanasov. It turns out that if you really want to get all relatives together for the party, you always find a way to get the money needed for the celebration.

Nobody can tell how the economic crisis will affect the Bulgarians’ everyday life. But one thing is certain – there is always a way to collect the money needed to have a party.
